PROJECT OVERVIEW

Established in 1888, The Wichita Children's Home is one of Wichita's oldest charities. After 50 years at its current location the shelter has moved to a new 13.6 acre campus. The move will give the charity much needed spaced and added features that will help support their mission.

This new apartment building was the first building on the new campus. The complex features 32 fully-furnished apartments, on-site daycare, a playground, individual offices for case managers and classrooms so residents can develop educational and life skills that are essential for independent living. Four of the apartments in the new building are studios, two are two bedroom units and the rest are one bedroom units.
